Geotechnical, civil Engineering Professor / Associate professor

Job type: Part-time (2-3 days per week)
Contract duration: 1 year (can be extended to 3 years)

Research project: Novel photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy in cancer treatment: Design, characterization, controlled singlet oxygen generation, and biological studies.

Qualifications:
• Qualified Master and Ph.D. students with good experience in (Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology, Nanoscience/ Pharmaceutical Science).
• Not less than two years of experience in scientific research.
Tasks:
• Design and fabrication of novel photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy application.
• Photophysical and photochemical properties of the newly prepared sensitizer.
• In vitro assessment of the selected photosensitizers (drugs).
• In vivo assessment of the selected photosensitizers (drugs).
